This is a yearly men's retreat and I've been coming to Malvern for years. This was the best retreat I have ever been on because our talks were on Saint Padre Pio. To have the actual blood stained glove placed on me was a jolt to me. When the priest prayed over us with the first class relic of St. Padre Pio, I was blown away. This is what a retreat is all about and I hope we haev hundreds of men next May for our annual retreat.
I have a strong devotion to St. Padre Pio and had an opportunity to pray to him in San Giovanni Rotondo for 3 days on his feast day 2009. It would be nice if the Franciscans would consider offering a retreat for women also. May the Lord bless you.
