The Padre Pio Retreat Group Blog

This is a yearly men's retreat and I've been coming to Malvern for years. This was the best retreat I have ever been on because our talks were on Saint Padre Pio. To have the actual blood stained glove placed on me was a jolt to me. When the priest prayed over us with the first class relic of St. Padre Pio, I was blown away. This is what a retreat is all about and I hope we haev hundreds of men next May for our annual retreat.
I have a strong devotion to St. Padre Pio and had an opportunity to pray to him in San Giovanni Rotondo for 3 days on his feast day 2009. It would be nice if the Franciscans would consider offering a retreat for women also. May the Lord bless you.
I agree with Anonymous. My family has a great devotion to Saint Padre Pio. My siblings and I are first generation born Americans. Our parents were from southern Italy. Our mother had a great adoration for Padre Pio (now St. Pio) and she passed it on to us. It would be so rewarding to part take of such a blessed retreat.
You're so interesting! I do not think I've truly read anything like that before. So wonderful to discover someone with original thoughts on this issue. Really.. thank you for starting this up. This site is one thing that is needed on the internet, someone with some originality!
